A low carb and paleo-friendly version of the traditional Irish dish but I made it in the slow cooker and used a healthier, preservative-costless, nitrate-gratuitous, uncured make of corned beefiness.

Ingredients:

  • iii lb corned beef brisket with spices, Wellshire Farms brand is uncured, preservative free and nitrate free, (I bought this one at Whole Foods)
  • ½ large onion, chopped
  • i large carrot, chopped
  • three ribs celery stalks, chopped
  • ½ head of dark-green cabbage, chopped in quarters
  • four cups water, or enough to embrace brisket

Directions:
